The Fedifensor was once the personal weapon of Justinian, a mighty hero who slayed a Demon Lord during the Godswar. The weapon he had used to kill the Demon Lord became corrupted and soon almost dominated Justinian if not for his pure soul and determination to live. With the help of an unknown god or goddess, Justinian was able to purify his corrupted blade, and it formed into the Fedifensor.

Since Justinian's "ascension" the blade has been wielded by several more heroes who have used the blade to save the world. It is said that the blade was broken during "The Collapse" when Arturius Lightblade was killed by a demon after defeating The Mad God himself.

The blade is now scattered to the unknown, only the hilt is left within Eccelsia's walls, and it has become the divine duty of Justinian's Justicar's to find the rest of the blade.
