Honey Trade

The Honey Trade has been a predominant faction within Aurelium for the past several hundred years. The Trade gains numbers by purchasing slaves and allowing them the choice of staying as such or being "free" and working for them as a "Bee", or having those desperate enough to sell themselves to the Trade be used. The Honey Trade utilizes it's "Bee's" by granting them out to rich and powerful people as a sexual outlet. Forever being branded as such, if their "Bee's" are treated terribly by someone who buys or rents one out, they will execute the buyer harshly, thus returning the "Bee" to the "Hive." The Trade has been a massive factor in the constant tension between human and Elven groups as they take them and trade them to the other race, and even has a special group of "Bee's" called "Round Ears" where they will cut the tips of Elven ears in order to give them a more human appearance.
