Seraithe was among the few who sought peace—even as the gods demanded submission. She tried to create a sanctuary where mortals and lesser gods could coexist. But as the war intensified, one of the gods, Ysola, Matron of Purity, unleashed a divine plague upon Faeburael's gardens to purge the "blasphemous synthesis."

To stop its spread, Seraithe merged Thornsoul with the infection, absorbing the curse into her body. Weakened and rotting from within, she lured the divine beast that carried the plague into a final confrontation. They killed one another beneath the shattered boughs of the Worldbloom Tree.

Legacy: The cursed tree still stands, half-dead, half-blooming—a monument to her sorrow.
